Click Souled to learn more about this passion project of mine. Souled is an ode to soul food—its spices, aromas, people and everything in between. It brings the world of an exciting polyglot cuisine served across America and based off the innovation of slaves to a modern audience. Souled goes beyond the pots and pans to examine how the politics of soul food are an integral part of America’s foodways. I pitched this as a capstone project while in graduate school.
